The Queen of Peace Centre is owned and managed by the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres. It started in 1972 as a Retirement Home for elderly who are living alone or who wish to live independently but and in company with other active retired people.

We provide the necessary nursing care round the clock to residents who had become feeble and ill through the years.

Within the compound of the Queen of Peace Centre are 20 Self Contained Flats located at the rear of the Queen of Peace Centre main building for independent living.

Irish Nursing Homes in Ireland and Our Irish Health System

Leadership comes in many guises. True leadership must have at its core an integrity and a heart.
We expect our Irish Health System, acting as a leader, guide and mentor,
to look to its people with an outstretched hand.

It should assist and support in every way possible and together we will achieve those very high goals we all deserve

We must always strive for a better health and overall care for everyone.
We must continually challenge our standards of safety and the quality of our health services
