St. Joseph's Care Centre was formerly a presentation convent, established in 1835.

The centre was converted to a nursing home by the presentation sisters' northern province in 1993 and provides care for nuns from the presentation order only.

The building is three-storeys over a lower ground floor.
It is registered for 30 residential places for females over 65 years
