St Joseph’s Community Hospital Millstreet is a two-storey building which was established in 1932 and accommodates 26 residents.

Residents live on the ground floor with offices and record storage maintained on the second floor.

Services provided include respite care, convalescence/community support, rehabilitation, palliative care, and continuing care for low to maximum dependency residents.

Other limited services include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and dietician.

Complementary therapy includes reflexology, with hairdressing also provided.

There is a long tree-lined avenue entrance to the hospital where a large conservatory is located to the front. Visitors use this room for private time with relatives.

St Joseph’s Community Hospital is situated at the foot of Clara Mountain and located a short distance from Millstreet town centre, Co Cork.
