Prague House was establishes in 1974 as a residential centre for the welfare of older people in the three local parishes. It now serves the wider community, providing long term care for residents who are mobile and require minimal assistance in a homely environment.

Prague House is within short walking distance of all local amenities, with the catholic church directly across the road. There are private secure gardens within the centre for residents, their families and friends to enjoy.
